Automated GUI construction and data aggregation for semantically described information system components

SOA Trader has developed a marketplace of information system components and a middleware for managing access to the components. Near-future plans include extension of the middleware with semantic-aware data aggregation and automated GUI construction. While semantics allows automation of some aspects of data aggregation, automated GUI construction simplifies usage of the components in end-user applications. We are also managing a database of 15K+ publicly available information system components, which can be exploited for proving the concept. Because of the large number of components and to take full advantage of them, a method and a set of heuristics should be developed to automate their semantic annotation.
